About Author

L. Ray Vinson is a USAF veteran, retired construction executive, and lifelong storyteller. Over the past 30 years, he has written numerous novels and short stories, drawing on a wealth of life experience to bring authenticity and depth to his work. A devoted family man, he proudly celebrates five children, eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. 

At sixty, Vinson discovered a new creative outlet painting. His artwork, now displayed in collections around the world, reflects the same passion and vision found in his writing. 

The inspiration for Iran Strikes Back came from a pivotal moment in recent history: the breaking of an international agreement with Iran. For Vinson, this act not only humiliated the nation’s leaders but also exposed how easily global trust can be broken. Through his fiction, he examines the consequences of such betrayals with a sharp, compelling narrative voice.
